Curraheen initiative

In an effort to ensure the best greyhounds compete at Curraheen Park, the prize money for the last race on Saturday nights will be increased € with the winner to receive €400.

A series of sponsors have come on board to support the race, featuring open class, A1 and A2 races.

€Sheila Spillane and JJ Fennelly of Burgess fame will set the ball rolling on July 7 and the Cork Greyhound Owners and Breeders Association (GOBA), who have been generous sponsors through the years, have also agreed to support the second last race on Saturdays. The prizemoney for the winner here will be increased to €320. Both races will have a €15 entry fee.
