Trip to suit Glimpse

THE once-raced Quick Glimpse is the nap choice in the Irish Stallion Farms’ EBF Fillies Maiden at Clonmel tonight.

The daughter of Galileo made a promising start at Cork earlier in the month and is entitled to improve plenty for the experience.

That contest was won by a smart sort in Ken Condon’s Montebell, with the selection beaten four and a half lengths into fourth place. Quick Glimpse had no more to offer through the final two furlongs and it may well be that tackling a mile and a half at the first time of asking was too much for her. This ten furlongs, for the moment, could prove more suitable.
