Darroun can make most of drop in class

Darroun, with his sights lowered considerably, should prove hard to beat in the Tipperary Water Hurdle at Ballinrobe tonight.

He was last seen when making no show in a Grade 3 at Auteuil just eight days ago and it is quite unusual to see a horse trained by Willie Mullins being asked to turn out again so quickly.

The conclusion to be drawn is that the trip to France took nothing out of the selection, who comes to this test with easily the best form of any of the contestants.
