Johannisberger looks another for Carberry

Johannisberger will be expected to continue Paul Carberry’s rich vein of form in the opening Sunday 15th July Family Day Maiden Hurdle in Sligo tonight.

Carberry has already registered two trebles since the new season began and Johannisberger looks primed to open his account this evening following a solid hurdling bow at Down Royal recently.

The Noel Meade-trained Arkan gelding has raced only three times, finishing fourth to stable-companion Texas Jack in the Goffs Land Rover Bumper at Punchestown last year, a promising debut effort.
