Tom Taaffe’s Distant Memories has his sights considerably lowered at Ballinrobe this evening and is the nap choice in the Treacys’ Pharmacy Hurdle.

The son of Falbrav was last seen when contesting the Supreme Novice Hurdle at the Cheltenham festival in March and this certainly represents a major drop in class.

He ran far too freely for his own good on that occasion, after Andrew Lynch had attempted to anchor him at the back of the field.
