Fehily in good form after surgery
Fehily, who fractured his right leg in three places, tweeted: “Op went well. Had a rod put through my tibia from knee to ankle. More comfortable now.”
Meanwhile, Nathan Cook, the conditional jockey airlifted to Cardiff General Hospital following a fall at Ffos Las on Sunday, is “fine” and will be back at work later this week.
Cook is employed by trainer Tom Symonds, who on Monday said: “Nathan was knocked out in the fall and it looked a little ominous, but happily all the tests were normal and he was released from hospital after a few hours.”
Symonds added: “I’ve just spoken to Nathan and he said that apart from being a bit sore he’s fine. He wants to be back at work later this week.”
