Allstar takes Scottish Derby

Barefoot Allstar produced a stunning performance in winning the Bettor.com Scottish Derby final at Shawfield last night.

Giving Paul Hennessy his third victory in the race and owners Bryan and Kathleen Murphy their second, Barefoot flew from traps and was clear all the way. He was chased by Mill Bling Bling but the latter didn’t help his chances as he switched sides on a few occasions.

Mill Bling Bling ran on very strongly but Barefoot Allstar held on determinedly to win by a length in a brilliant 28.76.
