Ice can freeze out opposition

ROBERT TYNER’S Its The Ice I Like can land the nap in the Goresbridge Maiden Hurdle at Gowran Park this afternoon.

The son of Oscar was a big disappointment when failing to justify warm favouritism at Fairyhouse in January, but Tyner’s horses were out of form at the time and seem on far terms with themselves at the moment.

He won the bumper at Cork on Thursday with the newcomer, Lughnasa, and Its The Ice I Like came right back to his best on this track two weeks ago.
