Magnificent seven for Henderson

Nicky Henderson was the toast of Cheltenham as he wrapped up a record total of seven winners to land yet another Festival trainers’ title.

During a memorable four days, the Seven Barrows handler enjoyed a four-timer on Wednesday when he passed the all-time Festival winners’ record of 40 held by the late Fulke Walwyn.

He even ended the meeting on a high with a one-two through Bellvano and Tanks For That in the final race of the meeting, the Johnny Henderson Grand Annual Chase , named in memory of his late father.
