Gagewell Flyer should be equal to the task

GAGEWELL FLYER can leave a moderate enough effort at Thurles behind by landing the nap in the Thomastown Beginners Chase at Gowran Park this afternoon.

He went off a 4-7 shot on that occasion, but proved no match for Shootin The Breeze, going under by seven lengths.

That, however, was the selection’s first run of the campaign and we can expect him to come on a bundle for the much-needed outing.
