Rhymers Ha’ can go one better
The five-year-old gelding has not yet won, but his form has been really strong this term.
Rhymers Ha’ has finished second to Lyvius and Into Wain at Kelso on his last two starts and would be most unfortunate if there were a rival of such potential lurking in this field.
Two miles on reasonable ground should be just the ticket.
Captain Nash had winning form for Paul Nolan in Ireland and should also help to steady the financial ship in the Newcastle Flooring Novices’ Handicap Chase.
He turned in an eyecatching performance on his first start for Chris Grant in January when finishing third in a decent handicap chase at Wetherby.
Grant’s new recruit grew a little weary towards the end of that three-mile-one-furlong affair, which was utterly understandable given he had been on the sidelines for 954 days.
