Stick with Jacksonslady

Jacksonslady, trained by Philip Dempsey, is the hopeful nap choice in the Xerox (Europe) Limited Maiden at Dundalk tonight.

A smart hurdler, she was returning from a break on this track last Friday night when finishing fourth behind Shop DJ.

On the face of it that was a disappointing enough effort, because she never threatened to take a hand at the end of the two miles.

But Jacksonslady, who has never appeared short of speed, is now dropped back in distance, will surely strip fitter and wasn’t knocked about in the closing stages a week ago.

Frank Oakes’ Mountain Coral gets the nod in the Matthews.ie Handicap over seven furlongs.

He just failed to reel in An Saighdiur here last month, over six, and runs now off a mark just 2lbs higher.

The progressive Cailin Coillteach is fancied to land a hat-trick in the Harp Lager Social Club Handicap.

Willie McCreery’s charge finished with a flourish here last week to beat Forbidden City by half a length and can make light of a 6lbs rise in the weights.
