Tyrur Big Mike can make winning return

The start of the SIS Gold Cup is only a week away and many potential challengers will flex their muscles in preparation for the event at Shelbourne Park this evening.

One of the more interesting is Tyrur Big Mike, who will be well-fancied to go close in the featured Open 550.

He faces no easy task however. The 2010 Derby favourite is pitted against two other dogs with Derby final history — Barefoot Bullet, who has reached both an English and Irish Derby decider and 2011 Irish Derby finalist Rockview Head.
