He has developed into a tremendous rider and the likes of Henry de Bromhead, Colm Murphy and Robbie Hennessy have to be more than pleased they had the foresight to recognise Lynch’s talents when he was, perhaps, not quite so fashionable.

He is an artist in the saddle, a terrific horseman, tactically very astute and no shrinking violet when it comes to riding a finish.
