Rip Van Winkle’s first foal arrives

THE first foal by Rip Van Winkle has arrived at Coolmore Stud.

Miss Khaya, a daughter of Champion sire Danehill Dancer and out of the Group winning Beneventa, foaled a bay filly on Monday evening.

Bred by Lady Laidlaw of Rothiemay, the filly is the second foal from her dam, following a yearling colt by Montjeu.
