Snow Fairy swerves Hong Kong Vase

ED Dunlop has withdrawn Snow Fairy from the Hong Kong Vase on December 11 after she suffered an injury in the Far East.

Winner of the Hong Kong Cup last year, Dunlop had only recently decided to let her take her chance in the Vase in an attempt to become the first horse to claim both races.

She bounced back to winning form last time out in the Queen Elizabeth II Commemorative Cup in Japan, taking that race for a second successive year.
