Murphy stars Navan bound

COLM MURPHY is to give two of his stable stars, Big Zeb and Voler La Vedette, their first runs of the new campaign at Navan on Sunday week.

Big Zeb has won the Fortria Chase for the past two years and a hat-trick will be on the cards for the 2010 Queen Mother Champion Chase hero.

The County Wexford trainer has the Lismullen Hurdle in mind for his talented mare Voler La Vedette.

“Big Zeb is good and all being well he’ll go to Navan for the Fortria on Sunday week,” said Murphy. “It will be the usual programme for him.

“Voler La Vedette is going well and she will go for the Lismullen on the same day.”
