Royal appointment for Harrington stars
Oscars Well, a dual Grade One winner who very nearly completed a hat-trick in the Neptune Investment Management Novices’ Hurdle at Cheltenham, heads for the WKD Hurdle at Down Royal on November 4.
And Bostons Angel, right, the RSA Chase winner, tackles the JNwine.com Champion Chase a day later.
“Oscars Well will go to Down Royal for a second-season novice race and will stay hurdling for the moment,” Harrington said.
“(Bostons Angel) is going to go for the Jim Nicholson and I’m very happy with him, touch-wood.
“He seems to have run well around Cheltenham last year so we’ll keep the dream alive.”
Harrington also confirmed the Group-winning Bible Belt on course for the Qipco British Champions Fillies’ And Mares’ Stakes at Ascot on Saturday.
