Drifting Sarafina can overcome wide draw in Arc

IT’S always interesting to see how the market reacts to the draw for the Prix de l’Arc and yesterday’s draw was no different.

Ante-post favourite Sarafina will be loaded out in stall 13 and for that reason alone, she drifted out to 9-2 to win Europe’s premier middle-distance race.

In my opinion, it’s a draw that could actually prove lucky for last year’s third. The filly is at her most devastating when dropped out and produced late with that scintillating turn of foot that has earned her six victories from nine outings.
