In-form Hanlon completes second double in space of a week

IN-FORM John ‘Shark’ Hanlon completed his second double in a week when Streets Of Newyork and Ardglen triumphed at Ballinrobe last evening.

Both horses coped well with the heavy ground and Hanlon, who won last week’s Guinness Kerry National with Alfa Beat, declared: “It’s a good day at the office, again.”

Streets Of Newyork, in the familiar Mee colours, won the opening www.ballinroberacecourse.ie Maiden Hurdle convincingly under Andrew McNamara, beating 25/1 shot Tynaghs Trooper and uneasy favourite Ballyhoura.
