PAUL CARBERRY was seen at his confident best when producing the Noel Meade-trained London Bridge with a perfectly-timed late challenge to justify 6/4 favouritism in the featured Westmeath Hurdle at Kilbeggan last evening.

London Bridge, owned by local hotelier Robert Bagnall, came from well off the pace and swept past Trendelenburg before the final flight before drawing clear to win by three lengths.

Jack Doyle teamed up with his trainer-father Pat to win the Irish Stallion Farms Mares Hurdle with course winner and joint-favourite Annie Other.
