Puttore poised for quick follow-up

KEVIN Prendergast’s Puttore is a confident nap choice in the Seamus Weldon www.mowers.ie Race at the final stage of Killarney this evening.

The daughter of High Chaparral was a very promising juvenile, running two cracking races. She began by finishing a length second to the smart Together at Leopardstown and produced an even better performance at the Curragh next time when beaten a short head and the same into third behind Wild Wind and Laughing Lashes.

That Curragh race was on Derby weekend, June 26, and Puttore wasn’t seen for the rest of the campaign, after fracturing a knee.
