Queally: I’ll never ride one as good as Frankel again
Sir Henry Cecil’s stable jockey has ridden the brilliant three-year-old to victory in all of his eight races so far but insists he wasn’t feeling under pressure going into Wednesday’s race despite coming in for criticism for the tactics he employed in the St James’s Palace Stakes on his previous start.
Writing in his Racing UK blog he said: “There was a hell of a lot of scrutiny around my upcoming ride on Frankel in the Sussex Stakes, and of course I was under pressure. But I have to say that no-one in the Frankel camp put any undue pressure on me. Everyone was very relaxed and that meant obviously I was too.
