IT has been a frustrating festival at Galway to date and before last night’s racing, we had five seconds, a third and four fourths.

To be fair though, there was no real hard luck story as they all ran their races.

The one real disappointment was Gimli’s Rock in the Galway Hurdle on Thursday. He planted himself a little bit at the start and had to race very wide the whole way around as a result. It wasn’t the best of starts in general and many horses were out of the race before the first flight was jumped, including Captain Cee Bee.
