Jockeys and bookies kick-off for charity

THE 11th annual Irish jockeys v bookmakers' assistants Galway Races Charities Cup, in aid of a number of charities, will take place at Terryland Park, Galway, courtesy of Galway FA, at 7.30pm next Saturday, July 30.

There will be a presentation function at 9.30pm afterwards, courtesy of the Clayton Hotel, Ballybrit, Galway.

In action will be many stars of the racing game, such as Barry Geraghty, Ken Whelan and Slippers Madden.
