Twice Over to take York test

HENRY Cecil’s multiple Group One winner Twice Over will attempt to redeem his reputation in the Sky Bet York Stakes on July 23.

The dual Champion Stakes hero won at the Dubai Carnival in early March but has since flopped in the World Cup, the Lockinge and most recently the Prince Of Wales’s Stakes at Royal Ascot.

Cecil has decided not to try to defend his Eclipse title with the six-year-old and he will instead head to the Knavesmire in three weeks.
