A daughter of Bahr, who won the Musidora and Ribblesdale in 1998, as well as finishing second in the Oaks, she has looked a high-class prospect in her own right when winning a Windsor maiden and a Haydock handicap.
“She’s won her two races very well, but obviously this is a big step up in class,” said Varian.
“I’ve been impressed with her homework, though.
“I’d be hoping she’d prove at least up to Listed class in time so we thought we may as well have a go at this, and it looks the right race for her.”
