CARLTON HOUSE, a first ever runner in the classic for Queen Elizabeth, is fancied to reveal his true colours by landing the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby at the Curragh tomorrow.

He went off the 5-2 favourite for the Epsom Derby, but could only manage third place behind Pour Moi and Treasure Beach.

It was a contest which his rider, Ryan Moore, will not look back on with any great relish. The more you look at the race the more you realise that Moore had his partner in just about the wrong place for most of the journey.
