Ground warning for Sole Power

SOLE POWER, second favourite for the King’s Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot, will only run in today’s Group 1 sprint if the ground dries out.

Eddie Lynam, trainer of last year’s Nunthorpe Stakes winner, issued the warning after the going eased to good to soft from good yesterday morning.

“If the ground remains good to soft - and the word soft is in the going description tomorrow - then Sole Power will not run,” he said.
