All systems go for Bunting bid

CONNECTIONS of Blue Bunting report the 1000 Guineas winner to be in top form ahead of the Investec Oaks at Epsom on Friday.

The Godolphin filly, trained by Mahmood Al Zarooni, attempts to emulate Kazzia, who completed the Guineas-Oaks double for Sheikh Mohammed’s operation in 2002.

“We thought we would take our chance with her in the Guineas. It has always been a good Oaks trial,” Godolphin racing manager Simon Crisford told At The Races.
