HUNGARIAN sprinting star Overdose will make a long-awaited debut in Britain when he lines up for the Temple Stakes at Haydock today.

The Jozef Roszival-trained six-year-old, nicknamed ‘The Budapest Bullet’ has won 15 of his 16 starts to date.

Perhaps his most spectacular display does not even feature on his race record as he ’won’ the 2008 Prix de l’Abbaye at Longchamp, only for the race to be declared void as one of the stalls failed to open. The race was re-run later in the day, but Overdose did not participate.
