Blaze Brightly boost for Harrington
Making her seasonal debut, the daughter of Big Bad Bob was most impressive in the hands of Fran Berry.
She eased ahead with over a furlong to travel and soon shot right away to beat Fighting Brave by three lengths.
“I’m delighted with her, she may have improved a bit”, said Harrington, with a hint of understatement.
“She will go for a Listed race somewhere along the way and doesn’t want the ground either too firm or too soft.”
Blaze Brightly is owned by the Saudi Arabia-based Wahed Al Mashi Syndicate. Wahed Al Mashi means ‘one for the road’ in Arabic.
Harrington and Berry completed a double with market-leader, Crystal Morning, in the Join Us On Facebook Handicap.
The daughter of Cape Cross was third first time up this season at Leopardstown and redeemed the promise of that effort in style.

Balmont Mast tried to make all and was still just about in front when crashing into the rail with about half a furlong to go.
Rose Bonheur was challenging strongly at the time and she made the rest to beat Marvada by three parts of a length.
Said Prendergast: “She’s in the Greenlands (Curragh), but would want an ease in the ground to run in that. This was as quick as she’d want it.”
The Tommy Stack trained Parkers Mill landed some decent wagers in the Enjoy An Evening At Tipperary Races Maiden.
He was taken at 7-4 in the morning and from evens to 4-5 on track. Parkers Mill had to be hard driven up the straight, however, by Wayne Lordan to beat Cannon Hill by half a length.
A gelding by High Chaparral, he is the first horse to carry the colours of the former Lucy Foster, who married Stack’s son, Fozzy, in December.
Said Fozzy: “That is probably about as short as he would want to go and he will be stepping up in trip.”
A late gamble developed on Aidan O’Brien’s Boris Grigoriev in the Irish Stallion Farms’ EBF Maiden for two-year-olds and the touch was landed in style.
Backed from 7-2 to 7-4, the son of Excellent Art was in control over a furlong down and Joseph O’Brien only had to push him out to beat Pinkisthecolour by a length.
Boris Grigoriev wore a distinctive nose bag, because he is allergic to pollen.
Aidan O’Brien landed a double in the concluding Irish Stallion Farms’ EBF Fillies Maiden with long odds-on Wonder Of Wonders.
A short-priced favourite at Leopardstown previously, she found all of the trouble that was going, but there were no hard luck stories here.
Seamus Heffernan only had to nudge her out to ease clear of moderate opposition and score hard held by five lengths.
Conor Hoban was seen to advantage when giving Statue Of Dreams a fine drive to land the Tipperary Races Supporters’ Club Handicap.
Hoban drove his charge for all he was worth through the last furlong to beat Patrickswell and Nidian by a head and a short head.
Billy Lee, who partnered Patrickswell, was found guilty of using his whip with excessive frequency and suspended for one day.
