Moore to ride Recital in Ballysax
Johnny Murtagh walked out on Ballydoyle-Coolmore at the end of last season and there has, of course, been much speculation regarding his successor.
Indeed, there were reports that Moore had been offered the job, but the organisation has a policy of not commenting on speculation, so they were never confirmed or denied.
The fact they have moved to bring Moore across this early in the campaign would indicate the brilliant pilot will be in line for many more high-profile rides throughout the season.
He is very highly regarded at Ballydoyle and last month partnered Master Of Hounds for Aidan O’Brien at Meydan in Dubai. He gave the colt a superb drive to finish a nose second behind Khawlah in a Group 2.
