DAN BUOY is a standing dish at Pontefract and looks a leading contender for the Jamaican Flight Handicap.

Richard Guest’s doughty stayer is a regular in the West Yorkshire track’s long-distance races and last year he won two and finished second twice.

Dan Buoy won the corresponding race 12 months ago off a mark of 57. He is 10lb higher in the weights now, but he continued to improve throughout last season, despite his advancing years.
