Mullins in contention for another four-timer
At Naas last Sunday he landed a spectacular four-timer and, though it is probably asking a bit much, there are solid reasons for believing Mullins is capable of a repeat performance.

He is the youngest horse in the contest and the one with easily the most scope for improvement.
The seven-year-old made a promising seasonal debut on this track early last month, finishing two and a half lengths runner-up behind race-fit Psycho.
The selection was light enough in the market that day and significant improvement may well be forthcoming.
The feature event is the Grade 2 Michael Purcell Memorial Novice Hurdle and this has the makings of a fascinating race, with Mullins’ Bishopsfurze and Shark Hanlon’s Hidden Cyclone entitled to be regarded as the main contenders.
Bishopsfurze has a serious engine, but continues to be dogged by indifferent jumping, recovering from an horrendous blunder two out at Clonmel last time when beating Skorcher unextended by seven lengths.
Hidden Cyclone is on the upgrade and there was plenty to admire in the way he dismissed Mullins’ Ballyhaunis in another Grade 2 at Leopardstown. Bishopsfurze is the hopeful choice.
Mullins’ Celtic Folklore gets the nod to make a winning debut over flights in the Killinan Maiden Hurdle.
He showed nothing in one outing in a point-to-point, but looked an altogether different proposition when making all of the running to take a bumper at Punchestown.
A fourth Mullins possibility is Mozoltov in the Bumper. This appears a moderate contest and the Kayf Tara newcomer won’t have to be anything out of the ordinary to get it right first time up.
