NIGEL TWISTON-DAVIES’ two big Cheltenham Festival hopes, Imperial Commander and Khyber Kim, are to work before racing at Kempton on Saturday.

Kempton spin for Imperial Commander

Imperial Commander is being prepared to defend his totesport Cheltenham Gold Cup crown next month, while Khyber Kim is being aimed at the Stan James Champion Hurdle, in which he was second last season.

Imperial Commander will be put through his paces over two miles at the Sunbury track at 1.15pm, before racing begins at 2pm, while Khyber Kim will gallop 15 minutes earlier at 1pm.
