Silver ‘not a definite’ for Naas
A winner of 11 races, most recently when getting the better of champion chaser Big Zeb for the first time in the Tied Cottage Chase, he has yet to be out of the first two this season.
Trained by Willie Mullins and owned by Violet O’Leary, of Florida Pearl fame, the nine-year-old also holds entries in the Queen Mother and the Ryanair Chase next month.
“This horse has had a long season and Cheltenham is the thing in mind. But he has come well out of Sunday week and is entered for the paddypower.com Chase,” said O’Leary’s husband, Archie.
“He’s not a definite and a lot will depend on a high performance in training on Thursday for his confirmation.
“Willie thinks that he has had a lot of races but he seems to thrive on them.”
Also entered are stablemate Scotsirish, recent Kinloch Brae winner Follow The Plan and Made In Taipan.
