Vaughan can strike with Bottman

TIM Vaughan had other options for the EBF “National Hunt” Novices’ Hurdle at Market Rasen today so it is hopefully significant he has sided with Bottman.

Given a Grade One entry at Cheltenham, Vaughan’s recruit clearly has ability judged on his six-length romp at Towcester last month under Tony McCoy.

Lightly raced so far, he won one of his two starts in bumpers and the yard is in great shape at the moment. He has Soir D’Estruval from the Alan King yard to beat.
