Gowran off, Cork confident

GOWRAN’S fixture tomorrow has been postponed with the track frozen and unraceable. A new date for the meeting has yet to be arranged.

However with the forecasted ease in weather conditions for the end of the week, Cork are confident of their meeting taking place on Sunday.

Racecourse Manager, Michael O’Neil said: “We are in good shape right now. While the track is frozen at present, there is no snow on the course. The forecast is positive and we will have two fresh tracks on Sunday.”
