Buoyant Fehily eyes Cheltenham return

NOEL Fehily would like to be back in the saddle at least a week before his intended ride on Kauto Star in the William Hill King George VI Chase on Boxing Day.

Fehily has been the main beneficiary of Ruby Walsh’s broken leg but then suffered his own misfortune at Newbury last week.

Initial reports suggested he had broken his wrist when he was unshipped from Rivaliste, but it later transpired the joint was only dislocated.
