Nazreef can give Morrison a boost

NAZREEF can break Hughie Morrison’s winless hex by taking top honours at Lingfield today.

The East Ilsley trainer has had four seconds and a third from his last five runners, but Nazreef can halt that frustration by winning the Fred & Ron Gibson Memorial Handicap.

The three-year-old colt is fairly lightly raced and all his three wins from his seven career starts have come on the all-weather – at Southwell twice and at Kempton.
