DAVID MURPHY just edged past All-Ireland champion Martin Coppinger in the O’Connell-Dullea Cup at Ballygurteen on Sunday.

Coppinger made clear light in two, while Murphy missed in two.

Murphy pulled his third bowl around the bend. Coppinger’s reply was far right and beat that tip by just 40m.
