FIRST LIEUTENANT can pull rank on his rivals in the Irish Stallion Owners’ EBF Novice Hurdle at Fairyhouse this afternoon.

Successful in his only point-to-point and bumper, he is a horse with a future, who has impressed in two outings over flights to date.

The selection wasn’t knocked about on his debut at Navan, fourth to Oneeightofamile, and then made no mistake next time at Punchestown.
