Hanagan to ride Snow Fairy

PAUL HANAGAN has landed the plum ride on Snow Fairy in Saturday’s Emirates Airline Champion Stakes at Newmarket.

Champion jockey-elect Hanagan has been chosen by Ed Dunlop to partner the dual Oaks winner with Ryan Moore, Eddie Ahern and Richard Hughes, who have ridden the filly in the past, all unavailable.

Snow Fairy was last seen finishing fourth in the St Leger against the colts but steps back down half a mile in trip for this weekend’s showpiece race.
