The filly was bought by Coolmore Stud supremo John Magnier for 1,200,000 guineas (€1,446,000).

Trade on the opening day saw 146 lots sell for 14,921,000 guineas (€17,500,000) at an average of 102,199 guineas and a median of 66,000 guineas.

The bay filly by Galileo out of the Green Desert mare Alluring Park, who was consigned to the sale by Seamus Burns’ Lodge Park Stud, had received a major catalogue update when her half-sister Janood won the Listed Matalan Stakes.

The sale of a bay colt by Nayef out of the Darshaan mare Blue Symphony saw a rare head-to-head between the Coolmore and Maktoum powerhouses. Shadwell Estates’ Angus Gold was finally successful with his bid of 525,000 guineas for the half-brother to the Group 1 Fillies’ Mile second Fantasia.
