RUBY WALSH was given the biggest reception of the week at Killarney so far last night after he piloted his first winner for over four months aboard Glantara in the Jameson Novice Chase.

It has been well documented that Walsh broke his arm in three places at Aintree in April and this was just his second ride since returning to action. He finished third on Hail Caesar at Roscommon on Monday evening.

“It is great to be back riding winners, he jumped like a stag,’’ said Walsh, his face lighting up with delight.
