WIJIKURA, having a first outing for Robbie Hennessy, can land the nap in the three-year-old Hurdle at Killarney this evening.

The selection was in the care of Louise Curling when landing the opening juvenile contest of the season inimpressive style at Roscommon and can make light of a 7lbs penalty. He jumped beautifully then, a major plus in this type of race, and stretched nicely clear in the closing stages to score by six lengths.

The second, Knockcroghery, went on to win at Tramore and the fact Davy Russell, who was in the plate at Roscommon, retains the ride is an obvious plus.
