Cross can go one better

DERMOT WELD’S once-raced Treasure The Cross gets the vote to land the Irish Stallion Farms’ EBF Fillies Maiden at Killarney this evening.

The daughter of Cape Cross made a promising start at Wexford in May and any improvement on that effort will surely see her go very close now.

Treasure The Cross, far from neglected in the market, was beaten three parts of a length into second by Kevin Prendergast’s Hedaaya.
