Walsh hopes for Galway return

RUBY WALSH is hoping to return from long-term injury at the Galway Festival, which starts on Monday fortnight.

Walsh has been sidelined since breaking his humerus, a bone in the upper part of the arm, in three places on Grand National afternoon at Aintree on April 10.

Speaking yesterday, Walsh said: “I have to go back to Bill Quinlan (othopaedic surgeon) in Dublin on next Monday week.
