GROUND conditions are likely to dictate which race Dermot Weld’s Profound Beauty lines up in at next Sunday’s high-profile meeting at the Curragh.

The six-year-old beat Age Of Aquarius in the Saval Beg Stakes at the Curragh last month and the form was given a boost when that rival finished second to Profound Beauty’s stablemate Rite Of Passage in the Gold Cup.

Weld is considering the Group One Audi Pretty Polly Stakes and the At The Races Curragh Cup for his mare this coming weekend, ahead of a possible second tilt at the Melbourne Cup, in which she finished fifth in 2008.
